We’ve all heard the familiar conversations about AI: how fast it’s moving, what it can automate, which jobs may change, and what the latest model can do.
AI Unscripted is about something different.
During LA Tech Week, Momentum Impact and AILA are bringing together four women whose work spans AI, entertainment, media, culture, business, and emerging technology.
Rather than a traditional panel, each speaker will have 10 minutes to put one idea into the room. Something she’s seeing, questioning, building, or thinking about that may change the way we understand or use technology. Then we’ll bring all four together for a candid conversation and audience Q&A.
Featuring: Ann-Marie Paz Founder of VYBE, building AI infrastructure for interactive artist worlds at the intersection of music, culture, and entertainment; formerly a Nike designer.
Joanna Popper CEO of Laurel Beach and board director advising companies on AI, immersive technology, strategy, and growth; formerly Chief Metaverse Officer at CAA and Global Head of XR at HP.
Julie Pilat Chief Growth Officer, Community & Culture at FYI.AI, focused on emerging technology, creativity, and community; formerly a global executive at Apple Music and the first Head of Music at Beats Music.
Lauren Cantor Founder of Field & Edge and professor teaching AI, innovation, and entrepreneurship at Caltech, ArtCenter, and SVA; formerly a Wall Street executive managing global teams and billion-dollar portfolios.
We’ll open the evening with a brief grounding from Mo Hiromoto, Professional Coach & Breathwork Facilitator.
There will also be time to connect with founders, executives, technologists, creatives, and other curious people from across LA Tech Week.
