Behind the Product is a private LA Tech Week event bringing together SoCal’s top technical students and early-career builders with the founders, engineers, and technical leaders behind some of today’s most interesting products.
Through candid, technical conversations, we’ll get inside the architecture, tradeoffs, scaling challenges, technical debt, pivots, and inflection points that shaped what ultimately got built.

The Format (12:00 PM – 3:00 PM)
• Technical Case Studies: Three selected engineering leaders will take the stage individually for 10–13 minutes. Each will dissect a single critical product decision or feature they built, explaining how it shaped their tech stack, system architecture, and overall product trajectory.
• Collective Q&A: A moderated panel discussion bringing all three speakers back to the stage for direct audience questions and deeper technical deep dives.
• Ecosystem Networking: Open time dedicated to connecting builders, founders, engineering leads, and investors from across the SoCal technical ecosystem.

To ensure high-signal conversations and direct access, capacity is strictly capped at 120 total attendees:
