Build AI Agents on AWS
📅 Date: October 15, 2026 10:00 AM PT (LA Tech Week) ⏱️ Duration: 90 minutes 📍 Location: 2450 Colorado Ave, Santa Monica, CA 90404 🅿️ Parking Information below ⬇️
Most teams have experimented with AI. Few have put it to work at production scale. At Amazon, teams that redesigned workflows around AI agents delivered a project scoped for 30 developers in just 76 days with six engineers — a 4.5x gain. The difference isn't the tool. It's how you build with it.
Join us for a 90-minute hands-on workshop where you'll go beyond the hype and actually build, deploy, and test an AI agent on AWS — from first line of code to production-ready.
What You'll Learn
🔧 Build — Create a custom AI agent using Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and Strands Agents (open-source SDK) in just a few lines of code — no complex orchestration required
🧠 Choose Your Model — Select from cutting-edge foundation models (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, Amazon Nova, Qwen MoE) optimized for reasoning and tool use
🔒 Deploy with Confidence — Ship agents with enterprise-grade security, governance, and reliability built in
⚡ Scale — Learn how to connect agents to your tools, systems, and data while maintaining full control over logic and outcomes
Who Should Attend
• Startup CTOs & Technical Founders building AI-native products
• Engineers & Architects evaluating agentic frameworks
• Product Leaders exploring how agents can transform workflows
Whether you're pre-seed or Series C, you'll walk away with a working agent and a clear path to production.
What You'll Walk Away With
✅ A functioning AI agent deployed on AWS ✅ Hands-on experience with AgentCore, Strands Agents, and Amazon Bedrock ✅ Architectural patterns for production-grade agent systems ✅ Direct access to AWS Startup Solution Architects
