Back by popular demand! The #LATechWeek Female Founders and Funders Walk with Venturous Counsel will take place at Tongva Park on October 15 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
This event is a part of #TechWeek, a week of events hosted by VCs, startups, and allies to bring together the tech ecosystem.
There’s no agenda other than to walk and talk while networking with other like-minded women and woman-identifying founders and funders in the startup ecosystem, outside of the usual noisy bar atmosphere. We look forward to engaging conversations while taking in some fresh air!

Meet up: You’ll find Tongva Park just south of Colorado Avenue, between Ocean Avenue and Main Street. We’ll meet by the park’s entrance on Main Street, directly across from Santa Monica City Hall. We’ll gather there and then set off around 2:10 PM to walk toward the pier and continue along the Palisades Park route.
Nearby parking is available at the Civic Center Parking Structure at 333 Civic Center Drive or the Beach Parking Lot 1 South Short Term Parking area at 1640 Appian Way. There are also several metered spaces near the park.

Arlene McCoy is an attorney at Venturous Counsel, a uniquely mission-driven firm dedicated to representing underestimated startups, investors, and values-aligned companies. She holds an economics degree from the University of California, San Diego and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law.
Originally from Mexico and a daughter of small business owners, Arlene is committed to providing tailored, responsive, and efficient advice to diverse entrepreneurs. She maintains an active involvement in the community by volunteering with several minority-focused bar associations.
