Regretfully, ISI will not be hosting this event. We encourage you to consider registering for one of our other events:
Self-Improving Agents Hackathon Tuesday, October 13 10:00am - 4:00pm https://partiful.com/e/WPPQCW6joDGsGTWXHsaL?c=TJocCJqT Join GRAIL and 18VC at LA Tech Week for a hands-on hackathon focused on building recursive self-improving (RSI) agents. We’ll dig into agent loops, tool use, memory, evals, and automated improvement, then help you prototype systems that can learn from feedback and improve their own performance over time.
Space: The Next Frontier of Technology Thursday, October 15 2:00 - 3:30pm https://partiful.com/e/VhAQTaY8lgV0Bty5ITi1?c=Rgq2cB8S The future of space is being built now—and it’s about far more than rockets.
Join us for a conversation with industry leaders at the forefront of the technologies transforming space exploration, communications, sensing, autonomy, and the rapidly evolving space economy. From the systems operating beyond Earth to the innovations reshaping how we live and work on it, we'll explore the breakthroughs, opportunities, and challenges defining the next era of space.
Thursday, October 15 3:30 - 5:00pm USC ISI Lab Tours https://partiful.com/e/WamUloVNcrQbWzYjBgo9
Quantum Computing Lab: “Step Into the Future: Explore the Quantum Computer That Demonstrated Quantum Effects and Operates at Temperatures Colder Than Space!”
Join us for an exclusive tour of the world’s most advanced quantum computer. This is your chance to see the machine that has demonstrated quantum effects, a feat that’s revolutionizing everything from cryptography to artificial intelligence. Operating at temperatures colder than the vacuum of space, this quantum computer is a true marvel of modern engineering.
Space Engineering Research Center's (SERC) Robotics Dynamics Labs See the lab that is building small satellites that are getting launched into space. This group just had some of their recent technology for docking with space objects tested on the International Space Station.
This tour is more than just a peek at cutting-edge hardware—it’s a journey into the unknown, a glimpse at the next frontier of human innovation. What you see here today will shape the technology of tomorrow.
