/ About this event

SPACE CITIES The infrastructure, capital, and culture of a multiplanetary civilization.

The frontier is open. Regular flights to the Moon are on the manifest. The founders who built the first commercial space wave are already building what comes next: the habitats, power, resource systems, and robotics that turn bases into cities.

We are the generation that becomes multiplanetary. What we build now, and who we choose to be as we build it, will shape life beyond Earth forever more.

LifeShip Ventures invites you to an afternoon in Richelle Ellis's space art studio, surrounded by work that imagines where we are going. A curated room of the founders, engineers, and investors building the first cities beyond Earth. Hear from leaders at the frontier, from the halls of Congress to the lunar surface. Share your vision, and find the people who will build it with you.

PROGRAM 4:00 PM · Doors open. Drinks and art. 4:30 PM · Panel: Building Space Cities (begins promptly) 5:15 PM · Conversation and connection 6:00 PM · Close

SPEAKERS

Congressman George Whitesides represents California's 27th District and is Vice Ranking Member of the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee. He served as Chief of Staff at NASA and was the first CEO of Virgin Galactic.

Amir Blachman is President of Outpost and a former Axiom Space executive, pioneering next-generation space logistics and in-orbit manufacturing.

Skyler Chan is founder and CEO of GRU Space, a Y Combinator-backed startup building the first hotel on the Moon from lunar regolith.

Ed Hinson is co-founder and CEO of Zephyr Fusion, a San Diego startup building the first in-orbit fusion reactor: a compact, megawatt-class power source designed to run in the vacuum of space.

HOSTED BY Ben Haldeman, General Partner of LifeShip Ventures and founder of LifeShip.

LifeShip Ventures backs the founders carrying life outward: the habitats, resource systems, robotics, and energy of a beautiful multiplanetary future.

LifeShip is a mission to spread life to the stars. The first LifeShip pyramid is already on the Moon, carrying the DNA and stories of Earth. Next missions are headed to an asteroid and the lunar South Pole.

Space is limited. Priority to founders and investors in space infrastructure. Late arrival is not guaranteed entry. Registration requires approval.
