VEST at UCLA is a student builder and founder community bringing together ambitious students interested in startups, technology, and frontier research. Since 2025, we've hosted events across SoCal connecting LA's student ecosystem with founders, investors, and teams from companies including Manus, a16z, Julius AI, Cognition, and Codex.
For LA Tech Week, we're bringing that community together for Jazz Bar at UCLA's Kerckhoff Grand Salon for an evening for student builders, founders, engineers, investors, creatives, and tech professionals from across Los Angeles to meet outside the usual conference setting. Expect live jazz from Sumting Blue, specialty matcha from Yinji Matcha.
The night will feature five live product demos from founders looking to meet and hire student talent, followed by a keynote speaker to be announced and an open networking session. If you're a founder looking demo your product or hire, apply at the link by September 25th!
