Join Comcast Ventures and Dentons for a first-look screening of Peacock's Crystal Lake, followed by a conversation on tech's role in the future of entertainment and a cocktail reception.
An A24 series and a prequel to Friday the 13th, Crystal Lake stars Emmy winner Linda Cardellini as Pamela Voorhees. All eight episodes arrive on Peacock on October 15, and we'll screen the first episode the day before, on Wednesday, October 14, at the Steven Spielberg Theater on the Universal Studios Lot.
Liz Jenkins, Chief Business Officer of NBCUniversal, will join Allison Goldberg, Managing Partner of Comcast Ventures for a conversation about tech's role in the future of entertainment.
Doors will open at 3:30pm, and the screening will start at 4:00pm.
In the spooky season spirit, a quick note: Crystal Lake is a psychological thriller with slasher roots, and the first episode includes some violence.
