A morning ride for startup people and friends of a16z — founders, CFOs, operators turning burn into growth. Draft with your peers, trade notes on the climbs, and regroup at the top. The paceline is free; the alpha is earned.
Your hosts for the day form a well-balanced portfolio in their own right. a16z brings the peloton together, the investors backing the founders building what's next, and the community where operators compare notes off the record and on the road.
On our ride we'll be joined by Filippo Pozzato, former world tour ride and the winner of Milan-San Remo. We'll also be joined by Alberto Chalon, the founding partner of Giano Capital.
Thomson Bike Tours will also set he support, and the pace seasoned guides who know every switchback, sag stop, and secret coffee shop along the way.
Coffee at the start. Pastries and special cylcing goodie bags at the finish. Bring a road bike and a helmet and we'll handle the tailwind.
Our plan is to split into two groups and ride the route to Hawk Hill:
- Ride 1: Training ride - pace 18+ mph average - Ride 2: Social Ride - 15+ mph average -
