A classic, iconic ride for the people shaping the creative future. This ride is for the visually obsessed. Tech, design, marketing, art leaders, anyone who notices the light on the bridge and the bad kerning on the sign next to it. If you've ever lost an afternoon to color palettes, you'll fit right in. Krea and a16z are throwing it. a16z rounds up the crew and backs the folks building what's next. Krea is an image lab, which means somewhere on the climb we're absolutely going to start arguing about where AI is dragging the creative world, what generation does to taste, and whether craft survives the robots. Strong opinions encouraged.
Bring a road bike and a helmet. Breakfast and coffee back at the Krea office after, which you will have earned several times over.
The plan: one ride out from Ghirardelli Square to Hawk Hill, an iconic San Francisco route and roughly 14 miles round trip. Fair warning before you sign up! Hawk Hill is a hefty climb of up to 750 ft of elevation, so come ready for the ascent.
Our plan is to split into two groups (before signing up, please make sure you can ride at this pace):
- Ride 1: Training ride / pace 18+ mph average - Ride 2: Social Ride / pace 15+ mph average
