/ About this event
While everyone else is burning tokens and waiting on round trips to the cloud, your app could be running instantly, offline, and dirt cheap per inference. The teams solving latency, cost, and privacy at the source are the ones pulling ahead. Build faster, ship cheaper, stay local.
We also think on-device AI should be open. Your models run on your hardware, and your data stays on the device. You're not locked into anyone's API or pricing page. We want building at the edge to be something any developer can pick up, not only teams with a hardware sales contact.
Join femtoAI for a Developer Happy Hour at Barebottle's beer garden in Salesforce Park. Come meet founders and engineers building the next generation of on-device AI. Drinks and light bites are on us. We're also launching our revamped developer portal that evening, so come be among the first to check it out.
Partway through, we'll say a few quick words about why local-first matters and walk through the new portal, live at developer.femto.ai.
Heads up: this event is outdoors in a rooftop park, and it gets chilly once the sun starts going down. Bring a jacket!
Getting there: Barebottle Salesforce Park Beer Garden, 425 Mission St, San Francisco. Enter through Salesforce Plaza at Mission and Fremont. It's one block from Embarcadero and Montgomery BART.
