/ About this event
Omni Ventures' annual Deep Tech Nexus is back for SF Tech Week, and this time it gets Physical (AI):
Models meet the real world: robots moving freight, world models that learn physics, and the power, chips and data centers it takes to run all of it. Maybe even in orbit.
From the grid to world models to space, we're bringing together the people building, funding and powering this shift for an evening of panels, sharp takes and good conversations.
Your hosts
Omni Ventures: Operator-led pre-seed and seed fund backing deep tech and manufacturing founders. Built by engineers who spent nearly two decades running manufacturing operations across Apple's global supply chain.
HPE: Hewlett Packard Enterprise builds the compute, networking and supercomputing infrastructure behind AI at scale, from enterprise data centers to some of the world's fastest supercomputers.
Massed Compute: U.S.-based GPU cloud giving startups, enterprises and researchers on-demand access to NVIDIA GPUs, bare metal and full clusters, without the bulky contracts. Backed by Digital Alpha.
Panels
Physical AI: From GPU to Robot
Lin Nease, HPE Craig Gieringer, Massed Compute Peter Lowe, Cargo Robotics Rishi Sharma, Faclon Labs
MC: Sebastian Spitzer, HPE
Data Centers in Orbit: Moonshot or Next Frontier?
Tristan Jennings, Solaris Ventures Stefan Faistenauer, Plug and Play Ventures Tanmay Gupta, Lokantara Space
MC: Sabrina Paseman, Omni Ventures
Come for the panels, stay for the conversations. Excited to welcome everyone!
