Museum discourse often divides between traditionalists who prioritize physical artifacts and advocates who emphasize digital mediation, particularly in cultural institutions, where concerns about screen fatigue, curatorial integrity, and institutional mission meet promises of democratized interpretation and a new era of participatory design.
Bringing together Swiss museum fellows and Bay Area innovators, this session opens space for a critical exchange on the tools, tensions, and creative possibilities shaping the future of exhibitions.
The event includes a panel discussion followed by a Q&A session, and networking.
