/ About this event
A conversation with the SF Chamber of Commerce and small businesses — on what happens when a city decides to activate local businesses across the whole city, not just the tourist hotspots.
During the 2026 World Cup, Bridgit matched fans into crews and routed them on foot into 100+ independent SF businesses — from taquerias to coffee shops to ice cream parlors. One in five itineraries ended at a family-owned taqueria. Now the founders, the Chamber, and business owners themselves get on stage together. What worked, what surprised us, and what it means for building consumer platforms that empower cities instead of extracting from them.
