🎙️ Singing Again Without a Larynx On October 7, Uhura Bionics brings its voice restoration technology to San Francisco. And we are putting it on stage.
Konrad Zieliński, co-founder and CEO of Uhura Bionics, lost his natural voice to cancer treatment and a total laryngectomy. This fall, in the intimate space of Mr. Tipple's Jazz Club, he will perform live for a US audience using Whitney: an electrolarynx that combines proprietary hardware, optimized software and signal processing algorithms to reach a sound quality beyond the current state of the art. Uhura Bionics products restore not only voice and speech, but also intonation, emotion, self-expression, and the feeling of agency, normalcy and being yourself again.
The evening combines a live hardware demo, a concert, hands-on product experience and time to meet people. Guests will get to see, hear and try the technology for themselves.

ON STAGE Konrad Zieliński: Co-founder and CEO of Uhura Bionics, cancer survivor, musician, scientist, PhD candidate and public speaker. He performs as lead singer using Whitney.
Gabriela Kołtun: Chief of Staff and Creative Director at Uhura Bionics, owner of the Vocalis vocal studio, voice teacher and soloist. She sings alongside Konrad on selected songs and performs solo pieces of her own.
Wiktoria Deredas: Accompanist and professional pianist, graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.
