Longevity tech has gotten very good at one thing: measurement. Rings, patches, DEXA scans, panels with 100 biomarkers, biological age scores that update weekly. Billions of dollars aimed at telling you, with increasing precision, how you are doing. Almost none of it is aimed at what you actually do on Tuesday night. The industry sold the number. Nobody sold the life.
Meanwhile the most persuasive longevity evidence on earth is not in a lab. It is a culture, and it runs on habits so ordinary that nobody thought to productize them. So let's do this properly, starting with what is not true.
Koreans absolutely do age. Korea has some of the worst sleep deprivation in the OECD, a heavy drinking culture, and serious mental health outcomes. A lot of what Americans observe is selection bias. So why does your Korean friend still not look like they age, while you do?
Now the part that is real: photoprotection culture, heat and cold cycling, walking dense cities, a soup and fermentation based diet, normalized early dermatology, and maintenance that starts at 15 instead of correction at 45. Nobody in Korea is doing anything you cannot do. They started 20 years earlier and never stopped.
Come to disagree. This is a room for people building in longevity, working in wellness, or spending real money on both, and the argument is the point.
