Machine Cinema Presents is a night out for people who love AI film, skeptics, and professionals who are curious about the bleeding edge of AI storytelling. This is not a showcase of tools, we just wanted to bring you the very best AI films as of Fall 2026.
THE FILMS: We know everyone has seen a sea of slop lately. So we formed a council together of top filmmakers to curate the best films we could find around the world, and bring them to you in one night to showcase what's at the bleeding edge of the space.
These come from the very best creators and filmmakers in the AI world. That includes people doing hybrid work as well as fully AI work. Big screen, good sound, real audience.
THE SHOW: Guest speakers who made and chose the work: builders, artists, and directors - we'll talk about where this space is heading and what's next.

San Francisco AI Filmmakers!
Want to see your own film on the big screen? As part of this special event, we’re opening a limited portion of the program to films from our local AI filmmaking community, the San Francisco Bay Area. Purchase a ticket and you’ll have the option to submit your own AI film for consideration. Submission requirements: 4 minutes or less, 16 by 9 format, AI must play a meaningful role in the film’s creation, and you must purchase a ticket and be present at the event to be eligible. Submission deadline is September 25th.
