/ About this event
Can AI shopping agents actually find — and recommend — your product? Spend Saturday afternoon working on exactly that, hands-on. We're Mervia AI, a small team building AI-commerce infrastructure, and we're hosting a small co-build: we hand you a sandbox Shopify store, and your team's mission is to make its products discoverable to AI shopping agents before the clock runs out.
Pick your track: Eng — work the Mervia AI sandbox and API endpoints to expose catalog data the way agents want it; or Design & GTM — shape brand voice, product copy, structured data, and storefront presentation with vibe-coding and no-code tools. Teams are small and cross-functional (3 teams, 3–4 builders each), and one of our engineers or founders builds alongside every team the whole afternoon. At 4:30, every team takes the floor for a short show-and-tell — your approach, what you changed, and why the agents will pick it up — and our founder-referee crowns the winning teams with awards.
Schedule: doors 12:00 · challenge brief 12:30 · build 1:00–4:30 · show-and-tell + awards 4:30–5:30 · then dinner nearby together, on us, 6:00–8:00 (hard stop — your Saturday night stays yours).
Capped at ~15 builders so everyone builds and nobody spectates. Application-gated: tell us what you'd try, and we'll confirm your spot. Approved guests get the exact SoMa address the morning of. Light snacks & lunch bites during the build; no alcohol at the venue.
