Join our panel on negotiations for founders, hosted by Gerta Malaj & Alex Choi. We’ll cover negotiations ranging from negotiating equity with your cofounder, negotiating and closing business deals, and negotiating term sheets. There will be time at the end for a Q&A, so you're welcome to bring questions.
Hosts bio:
Gerta Malaj and Alex Choi are the cofounders of YourNegotiations.com, where they help founders, startups, teams, and executives negotiate with cofounders, business partners, customers, vendors, and beyond.
Gerta has trained with world-class negotiators from MIT and Harvard Law School. Her career spans tech (LinkedIn), biotech (Sanofi), venture capital (South Park Commons), building VC-backed startups, and founding startup communities (Inception Studio). She holds a Master's in Logistics Engineering from MIT and a degree in Math from Wellesley College.
Alex began his career as a US Air Force officer, negotiating defense contracts with aerospace companies. He later led go-to-market for Instagram Stories and Feed Ads, Meta's second highest revenue-generating team, and was an early hire at Alchemy, a hypergrowth blockchain startup. He is also a 3x founder, former military parachute instructor and professional skydiver/BASE jumper, and holds degrees from the US Air Force Academy, Wharton (MBA), and Harvard Kennedy School (MPA).
