Post Generation invites three artists to turn an archive of early Veo experiments into new works spanning performance, textiles, and media art.
Featuring Karyn Nakamura (NYC), Hayley Mortin (Montréal), and Zelia ZZ Tan (LA).
Hayley Mortin (https://www.instagram.com/dazy_chains/) is a Montréal-based researcher and artist whose work connects human-centered AI, textile production, and independent publishing. She is a Staff UX Researcher specializing in AI, the founder of experimental knitwear project Dazy Chains, and the founding editor of Needlebound, an anthology documenting contemporary fibre culture.
Zelia ZZ Tan (https://www.instagram.com/zelia_zz_tan/) is a Los Angeles– and Hong Kong–based choreographer, director, media artist, and researcher exploring how bodies relate to technology and their environments through performance, motion capture, XR, and participatory systems. She is the co-founder of TechDanceLab, an Asian Cultural Council Altius Fellow, and holds MFAs in Choreography and Interactive Media for Performance from CalArts.
Karyn Nakamura (https://www.instagram.com/frog_spit_simulation/) is a Tokyo-born, New York–based artist and researcher whose work explores agency, communication, and honesty in technology through large-scale installations, moving image, and experimental systems. A graduate of MIT’s Art and Design program, she conducts visual forensics research with Northwestern University’s HAIC Lab and is a recipient of the Steve Jobs Archive Fellowship.
