Why now
Japan has committed USD 1 trillion to its Green Transformation mandate over the next decade. The US and Japan just launched a USD 1 billion bilateral research partnership under the Genesis Mission. ASEAN manufacturing investment hit USD 226 billion in 2024. And the AI infrastructure buildout is pulling semiconductor investment into Taiwan, Japan, and Korea at a pace few predicted even a year ago.

A Technology Showcase follows, featuring startups curated by Bakar Labs Energy & Materials at UC Berkeley. Investors can pre-book meetings with presenting companies ahead of the event.
The day closes with extended networking, giving the room real time to turn conversations into next steps.
