/ About this event
Bogotá is building the talent density, research infrastructure and institutional partnerships to become Latin America's next platform for innovation.
During SF Tech Week, the Secretary of Economic Development of Bogotá, ProColombia, Campus 2600 and Silicon Valley Delegations are hosting an off-the-record dinner for a curated group of investors, corporate innovation leaders and ecosystem operators.
The evening opens with a short perspective on Bogotá as a city for innovation, talent and expansion, followed by the first Bay Area presentation of Campus 2600, the science, technology and innovation platform of Bogotá-Region.
Five seed-stage Bogotá tech startups, selected by ProColombia and the Secretariat from an open call, will each give a three-minute presentation: every company has prior outside investment, an open round above $1M and $350K+ in 2025 revenue, across SaaS, fintech, healthtech, logistics tech, proptech and AI. A seated dinner and curated introductions follow.
The conversation we want to have: what does it take for an emerging city to become a credible partner for Bay Area capital and corporates, and where are the concrete opportunities for investment, commercial pilots and research collaboration between San Francisco and Bogotá?
This is not a networking mixer. Attendance is limited to 24 seats and approved manually to keep the room substantive. Priority goes to active investors (seed to Series A, CVC, fintech/SaaS/AI or LATAM thesis), corporate innovation and R&D leaders, university innovation programs and operators with a track record in Latin America. Dinner and drinks are hosted.
This event is a part of #SFTechWeek—a week of events hosted by VCs and startups to bring together the tech ecosystem. Learn more at www.tech-week.com.
