That spirit of exploration, ambition, and resilience still defines the American journey today. The tools and landscape may have changed, but the mindset remains the same: take the risk, embrace the unknown, and build something along the way.
Inspired by that spirit, we’ve created a modern-day version of the journey for a new generation of entrepreneurs.
As part of SF Tech Week in October, Rocket Mixer, a leading startup community connecting founders across NYC and SF, is hosting a one-of-a-kind experience: A hackathon on a moving train from New York City to San Francisco.
Upon arriving in SF, the journey culminates in a live Demo Day, where teams pitch the companies they have built on board to leading investors.
Conceived and organized by Andrea Garau, founder of Rocket Mixer, the event is designed around two specific audiences:
— Ambitious builders looking for their next big opportunity in an unprecedented setting.
— Founders with an up-and-running business who are actively scaling and willing to provide value to other guests.
