At this live, dating game-inspired session, three seed-stage founders will take the hot seat to try and win the attention of Emily Bennett, an a16z partner, and make the case for her (hypothetical) Series A backing.
Across multiple rounds, founders will respond to hot-button investment questions as Emily evaluates first impressions, compatibility, and potential dealbreakers. After each round, she'll break down what’s sparking interest and what's raising red flags - all leading up to her final choice.
Along the way, the audience will weigh in on what it takes to make a strong first impression and what's grounds for a missed connection.
