A note on your host: a Bay Area founder building a voice-first AI device. She came from a research background in economics, taught herself the hardware and software stack, and went from idea to working prototype in five months — building it solo, with AI tools accelerating the process. She'll share informal observations from talking with vendors and manufacturers across Asia and elsewhere: what’s now possible to get built, at what cost, and how quickly.
