Most women who could be angel investing aren't, and it's rarely about the money. It's that nobody ever walked them through the mechanics. We're here to change that!
Maxine Minter from Co Ventures and Anabel Paksoy from 43 are two women who did start, and have gone on to run their own funds. Over drinks, they'll host a candid masterclass on how angel investing actually works: what it means to be an angel, how much you really have to commit, and where your money goes.
Maxine runs Co Ventures, Australia's first dedicated pre-seed fund, and co-hosts First Cheque, a podcast about early-stage investing.
Anabel co-founded 43, a pre-seed fund writing first checks into pre-product companies from its studio in SF. Before that, she co-founded The Council, a female-first angel group built to get more women writing checks.
