Experience the Future of AI Filmmaking
Where Storytelling Meets Investment Opportunity
The future of AI filmmaking isn’t just about technology — it’s about building sustainable creative and business models.
This event is for investors and creatives (Film, media, tech) alike
You’ll hear the truths from insiders:
Monetization models: distribution, financing, and equity crowdfunding for AI films.
Investment opportunities: where early capital creates outsized returns.
Sustainable strategies: how independent creators can thrive without chasing algorithms.
Watch an exclusive concept trailer from a Neu Wave developed AI feature that has already secured guaranteed domestic distribution from a major distributor affiliated with Focus pictures, Netflix, Max, etc— a first in this new era.
Hollywood and major studios are already experimenting with AI filmmaking — but they’re not talking about it publicly for fear of backlash. So how can independent filmmakers use AI and benefit from it?
Exclusive Panel Discussion
Hear directly from the pioneers shaping the next wave of film and media:
• Nicholas Barnes – VFX Supervisor on Avengers, Infinity War, The Mandalorian, Star Wars: Episode VIII, Star Trek Beyond, Captain America, Civil War, Bumblebee, Aquaman
• Max Balter – Higgsfield.ai, Executive Producer
• Bryan Liu - Alumni Ventures, VC Investor av.vc
• Tony Pu – Klingai.com (US Rep)
• Matty Shimura – ElevenLabs/Chromaawards.com
• Representative from Lumalabs.ai
• Fred Grinstein from Machinecinema.ai
• Neu Wave AI Finalist Filmmakers neuwavefest.com
• Tony Shyu – Neu Wave AI Film Founder aineuwave.com
This isn’t just talk. It’s about transitioning — and thriving — in a shifting film industry. Producers, writers, DPs, editors, and actors — yes, especially actors — will walk away with a clear sense of how AI filmmaking can transform their careers.
We know there’s fear. Change is uncomfortable, but you can’t stop AI from coming. The choice is simple: resist or adapt. The good news? You don’t need to be a techie to step into AI filmmaking. If you’re already in film, you hold the advantage. The fundamentals of storytelling and performance remain the same — only the workflow shifts. Master that workflow, and your craft is not replaced, but expanded with new tools.
See the Prototypes Redefining Cinema
As proof-of-concept, you’ll also experience 16 groundbreaking finalist films from the Neu Wave AI Film Festival neuwavefest.com — selections that wowed Venice film festival audiences and projects from bold creators like the AI filmmaker behind OpenAI’s feature Critterz.
Why Attend?
• Get insider strategies before they go mainstream.
• Network with investors, producers, and creators building the next wave.
• Position yourself early in a fast-moving creative economy.
• And yes — be inspired by films that prove where the future of cinema is headed.
• Learn workflows that go way beyond YouTube tutorials.
• Don’t miss this chance to be in the room where the future of storytelling and business models in film are being written.

Open Questions Happy Hour
You’ll join founders, builders, and operators from across SF Tech Week for an evening of good conversations (because let’s be real — you’ve had enough panels and sales presentations already). Optionally, we have a prior event about AI in hiring trend on the same day at the same venue. Feel free to check it out too. https://partiful.com/e/E4EX1qKT4HDaVk1x0jro?
What makes it special is that you’ll get a bold, beautifully printed “quiet profile” card with your name and a line about what you’re working on, so networking skips the small talk and gets straight to the point. And don’t worry — we’ll print them big enough so you can actually read them.
