Musa Capital, Microsoft Azure
Musa Capital is bringing the energy of next-generation AI development to San Francisco and Los Angeles. This one-day hackathon, co-hosted with Microsoft and Sumtyme, challenges participants to push the boundaries of multi-agent AI systems and time-series intelligence. Builders will leverage Azure AI Foundry alongside Sumtyme’s predictive algorithms to design impactful applications, stress-test AI models, and compete for cash prizes.
Challenge Areas
Microsoft Challenge (Morning): Use Azure AI Foundry to design multi-agent AI systems that tackle real-world problems in logistics, robotics, and manufacturing.
Sumtyme Challenge (Afternoon): Stress-test Sumtyme’s time-series algorithms by applying them to unique market events. Participants will be tasked with finding blind spots or creating innovative applications around the models, similar to a “bug bounty” format.
Event Schedule
10:00 AM – 1:00 PM | Microsoft Lab & Challenge: Guided session with Microsoft engineers, hands-on with Azure AI Foundry, and multi-agent system challenge
1:00 PM – 5:00 PM | Sumtyme Challenge: Teams call APIs, model market events, and attempt to build the most impactful product in just 4 hours
5:00 PM – 6:00 PM | Judging & Awards Presentations and scoring based on impact, creativity, and completeness
6:00 PM – 8:00 PM | Networking Happy Hour & Dinner
Judging Criteria
Projects will be evaluated on:
Impact of Industry Use Case: Commercial relevance, dollar-scale, or potential disruption in logistics, robotics, manufacturing, or financial modeling.
Responsible & Ethical AI: Transparency, compliance, and safeguards in multi-agent and time-series applications.
Completeness of Product: Functionality and polish of the prototype or stress-test outcome within the hackathon timeframe.
Prizes
Microsoft Track: $500 for best multi-agent AI system
Sumtyme Track: $500 for best market event stress test or application
Bonus: Teams placing in both tracks are eligible for an additional $500 — bringing the total potential prize pool to $1,500.

Beyond Vibe Coding: Community Mixer on AI Dev Tools
Interesting things happen outside the local machine comfort zone, so let's meet and discuss what happens when AI dev-tools meet messy, mission-critical code at scale.
This mixer + mini-panel is about turning AI speed into safe, team-level delivery.
- AI Dev-Tools: how to search across huge repos, makes coding agents understands your project, and set up simple, repeatable LLM workflows and quality checks.
- Code Migration at Scale: choosing a migration path, automating safe refactors, building pipelines, and automate the boring bits.
We want a real conversation - what’s worked (and what hasn’t!) for cutting trust debt, using spec-first habits to make delivery predictable and reviews calm, and adding lightweight checks/guardrails that keep the “vibe” speed without the chaos. Bring your wins, scars, and questions.
We’re explicitly looking to discuss the “beyond individual contributor” side: scalable code changes, design governance, quality gates, migration guardrails, and project context management. On top of that, we’ll cover LLM-aware practices at the org level. So if this is your scope of responsibility/interest, you’ll feel at home.
Bonus: After the official tech presentations - we’re going to celebrate VirtusLab’s 15-year anniversary - come raise a toast! The event will be in a legendary THE BOX SF Venue, with open bar for everyone.
