The Next Level: The Unfair Advantages of Building with a Venture Studio
Join Expa on the rooftop of the Proper Hotel for an evening designed for ambitious and experienced founders who are thinking about, or working on their next startup.
Venture studios are reshaping how companies get built. At this event, we’ll explore how studios provide founders with unfair advantages: from early capital and operational support to product strategy and recruiting. You’ll hear how partnering with a studio can accelerate your path, expand your network, and free you to focus on the work that matters most.
Beyond the conversation, this is a chance to connect with a curated group of founders, the Expa team, and select partners. Come share your ideas, compare notes on what’s next, and leave with new insights for the journey ahead.

Revenge of the Humans
Christine Heckart, CEO and founder of Xapa, has held executive roles at Brocade, Cisco, and Microsoft. She now leads Xapa, an AI-powered platform that helps teams build essential soft skills like empathy, adaptability, and self-awareness.
What AI Still Can’t Do.
In a world of automation, what’s left for humans? Everything that matters. This session is a no-BS wake-up call about the skills AI can’t replicate: decision-making, prioritization, context, relationship building, conflict management, and more. Powered by Xapa’s research in workplace learning and behavior change, we’ll explore why soft skills are becoming the core skills and how platforms like Xapa are turning them into measurable, scalable competencies.
Call it the rise of the liberal arts in business. The future doesn’t belong to the machine; it belongs to the emotionally intelligent, the systems thinkers, and the ones who know how to work with, not like, AI.

Why Agents Need a Taste Brain: The Next Layer of AI Infrastructure
Mission
·
PSYKHE AI, StubHub International, Walmart
Personalization has failed for over a decade - siloed, shallow, and blind to real human taste. LLMs can parse queries, but without personal grounding, they fail at product discovery for the long tail.
Join PSYKHE AI - the psychographic infrastructure layer powering cross-platform personalization - along with Yana Routshtein, Group Director - Personalization at Walmart, and Bob Kupbens, CEO of StubHub International (ex-Apple, Target, Delta, Neiman Marcus, eBay), for an intimate dinner exploring how a “taste brain” MCP layer can make agentic personalization more personal, persistent, and proactive.
