AI in Institutional Finance: Multi-Agent Research Across Equity and Credit
Hosted by LinqAlpha, AWS and Databricks, the AI for Finance Summit is a private gathering for senior investment professionals to explore how AI is changing institutional research. The Los Angeles edition's theme is "AI in Institutional Finance: Multi-Agent Research Across Equity and Credit". Los Angeles is one of the few cities where large equity and credit platforms sit side by side. PIMCO, TCW, Oaktree, Ares, DoubleLine, Capital Group, Dimensional and Beach Point are all here, and the same multi-agent research workflow has to hold up on both an equity desk and a credit desk.
Doors open at 3:00 PM and the program runs 3:30 to 6:30 PM. The afternoon opens with remarks and a fireside with a portfolio manager at Granite Investment Partners on what the last cycle teaches us about this one. Three panels follow: the equity desk, with portfolio managers and a head of quantitative research from Causeway Capital, Redwood Investment Management and Granite Investment Partners; the credit desk, with the director of research for liquid credit at Ares Management and a managing director at a private credit manager; and the build side, with data and technology leaders from Causeway Capital, DoubleLine and Databricks on getting data and infrastructure ready for AI. There is also a live demo, and a networking reception runs until 7:30 PM. This Los Angeles edition, held during LA Tech Week, continues a global series with past events in Boston (with J.P. Morgan), New York (with OpenBB and Guidepoint), Seoul (with LSEG and LG AI Research) and London (hosted at Deutsche Bank).
To facilitate candid discussion, the summit will be held under the Chatham House Rule. No recording or press will be permitted. We are pleased to acknowledge the support of our sponsor, AQR Capital Management. Admission is by non-transferable invitation only.
What to expect: - A fireside and three panels on what is genuinely in production on equity and credit desks, and what quietly got switched off again - Peer-level networking with a curated group of senior finance and investment professionals - A private forum for candid conversation, governed by the Chatham House Rule
