Photo Disco - Play the room #LATechWeek
Photo Disco is hosting an exploratory evening during LA Tech Week.
Come play a live camera-based social game where founders, creators, investors, business people, and anyone in tech race to find and photograph prompts in the real world around them.
The night is centered around a new form of social play — using the phone camera to get people moving, observing, laughing, competing, and connecting through the environment around them.
In between industry talks, pitches, networking, and conversations about what everyone is building, guests will play short Photo Disco challenges and experience the game in a live setting.
No experience required — just bring your phone and be ready to play.

It looks like we’re going to have a full house! I’m incredibly excited and grateful that so many of you want to come experience Photo Disco—a new kind of social game that turns your phone’s camera into the controller.
The event runs from 7:00–10:00 PM and is designed as a casual, drop-in evening. Arrive when you can and leave when you need to. Light food and beverages will be provided while supplies last.
Everyone who plays will automatically be entered into our casual tournament, with fun prizes for first, second, and third place. Official tournament scoring will close at 9:15 PM so we have time for winner announcements, prizes, thank-yous, and a few closing remarks. If you would like your score included, please arrive with enough time to play before the cutoff.
We’ll also be livestreaming the event on the Photo Disco website and YouTube. A QR code and link will be available to share with friends and family who would like to watch from home.
Parking and Event Notes
Street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood after 6:00 PM. There is also a parking lot near the park, south on Strand Street. Please follow all posted parking signs and do not park in the restaurant parking lot without permission from the restaurant.
