Building more energy, materials and manufacturing capacity requires better ways to engineer, finance and deploy industrial systems. Join DeepMechanix during SF Tech Week for an afternoon with founders, industrial operators and investors exploring how AI, robotics and new process technologies move from promising prototypes to productive operations and from a successful first deployment to repeatable scale.
Across mining and critical minerals, manufacturing, energy and infrastructure, we'll ask: what does it take to bring new industrial capacity online, and make the next deployment faster, cheaper and easier to finance?
Expect practical conversations about AI agents for engineering, design and simulation, verification, industrial deployment, and the capital needed to build. Three focused panels each with 35 minutes of discussion and 10 minutes of audience Q&A will be followed by networking and introductions.

Moderated by Gustavo Navarro
Founders and engineering leaders discuss how AI agents are changing the way industrial systems are designed and developed. Where are teams seeing real gains in design, simulation and engineering workflows? What still requires human judgment, and how do you verify the results? Panelists will compare approaches, lessons from implementation, and what it takes to earn industrial customers’ trust.

2:15–3:00 p.m. 1→n: Scaling Industrial Deployment
Turning a successful first project into repeatable deployment. From first-of-a-kind to nth-of-a-kind (FOAK → NOAK): what can be standardized, what stays site-specific, and how do reliability, field support and economics improve with each installation?
3:00–3:45 p.m. Financing the Industrial Buildout
Backing industrial software, robotics and integrated businesses. When should founders sell tools, own the product or operate the asset? How do venture capital, strategic partnerships and project financing fit together and which technical and commercial milestones unlock the next stage?
3:45–3:50 p.m. Closing remarks
