/ About this event
Join us at Reddit’s San Francisco headquarters during #SFTechWeek for a candid conversation about what it takes to build something people care about.
Hear from Reddit co-founder and former CTO Chris Slowe in a fireside chat on turning founder conviction into a product, brand, and community that grows — from earning early advocates and listening to users to building momentum without a massive budget.
Then, hear from Reddit’s Community and Advertising teams on how founders and marketers can thoughtfully engage in communities like r/startups, r/Entrepreneur, r/smallbusiness, r/EntrepreneurRideAlong, and r/marketing. You’ll learn how to listen before jumping in, contribute genuine value, gather honest feedback, and build credibility and awareness.
Come for honest stories about what worked, what didn’t, and the unexpected turns along the way. Leave with practical ideas for building your brand through community, a better understanding of how to show up on Reddit, and a few new people in your corner.
Please note: RSVP approval does not guarantee entry. Space is limited to 150 guests, and admission will be first come, first served. We recommend arriving early.
