/ About this event

Let's talk about optimization fatigue in the city obsessed with optimization.

LONGEVITY SALON · CHAPTER 1: RECOVERY Part of a three Longevity Series by EMBODIED during SF Tech Week.

You track your sleep, your HRV, your glucose, your steps. You have never had more data about your body. So why does almost nobody change?

We are tracking more data about our bodies than any generation before us, and we are more exhausted by it than ever. Ten apps, zero decisions. This is optimization fatigue: the more we measure, the less we change.

The industry keeps selling us better measurement. But the gap was never the number. It is the work between the signal and the action.

Join founders, operators, and health-invested builders for a recovery night at Pause Castro. A conversation between Moonsun Kim and Dr. Elsa Jungman on biomarkers, the microbiome, and the 30 year continuum, then the mic goes to the room. You will leave with practical insight, not another number for your dashboard.

Every attendee will get: 🔴 A complimentary 10 minute LED bed session 🦵 Complimentary time in the leg compression chairs 🤗 Didn't get a slot? You'll leave with a complimentary booking to come back ✨ An exclusive first-visit offer from Moonsun x Pause 🥂 Catering: details to be announced soon

🎟️ Confirming your spot Requests have far outpaced our seats. To prevent no-shows and support independently produced events, we ask every guest to confirm their seat with contribution here: [https://buy.stripe.com/fZufZg5bA1Bb1Ic5etbII00]. It covers the night, supports the host, and holds your seat. Guests are approved as confirmations arrive. Non-refundable, non-transferable to a friend.

THE LONGEVITY SALON A three day series by Embodied during SF Tech Week on the missing layers of longevity. Ch. 1 Recovery (Tue Oct 6, Pause Castro) Ch. 2 Embodiment (Wed Oct 7, Equinox Sports Club) Ch. 3 Culture (Thu Oct 8, The Bank at Amador)

HOSTS Led by Moonsun Kim, Founder of EMBODIED. Moonsun has 15 years of expertise behind her and works directly with 200+ people a week, deeply rooted in the SF Bay Area wellness community. That gives her ground truth almost nobody in longevity has. EMBODIED is what she built on top of it: a protocol, methodology, community, and technology that turn chaotic metrics into clear decisions, and clear decisions into behavior that lasts. Healthspan over lifespan. Before wellness, she spent a decade creating art and fashion brands and working Milan and Paris Fashion Week.

Dr. Elsa Jungman, Founder & CEO of HelloBiome Elsa is a French-American scientist and entrepreneur exploring how the microbiome can unlock a new generation of health, beauty, and longevity solutions. With a Ph.D. in skin barrier function and a career spanning L'Oréal, AOBiome, and K18, she has spent the past decade at the intersection of skin science, microbiome research, and innovation. At HelloBiome she is building an AI-powered microbiome intelligence platform that turns biological data into new diagnostics, predictive insights, and personalized solutions. She has been named to the Inc. Female Founders 500 and the Longevity 100 in Beauty & Wellness, and is based in San Francisco.
