/ About this event

Venture has changed. Capital is concentrating in large platforms, emerging managers are fighting to prove differentiated access, and more LPs are building their own direct and co-investment programs.

So how should LPs construct venture exposure today?

Join family offices, fund-of-funds, and other allocators for a short panel followed by an interactive unconference where the room sets the agenda.

We'll explore: - Emerging managers vs. established platforms - Where differentiated returns can still be found - When direct and co-investments make sense - Evaluating managers without long track records - Specialization, fund size, ownership, and access - How allocation strategies are evolving into 2027

Built for LPs, family offices, fund-of-funds, endowments, foundations, and GPs. Expect a candid, off-the-record-style conversation.

Speakers: Max Khalkhali leads GEX Ventures, deploying long-term family capital into breakthrough science and technology. With 10+ years across family office and venture investing, he builds deep relationships with both emerging and established fund managers.

Wilson Lin is Head of AI Investing at DCG, leading early-stage investments in AI, physical AI, and cybersecurity, and partnering with emerging managers through DCG's LP and co-investment program. He previously founded Cyber NYC, a $100M public-private initiative for NYC's cybersecurity ecosystem, and is a Kauffman Fellow.
