/ About this event
Free hop-on, hop-off rides between SF's transit hubs and the heart of Tech Week, all day, every day.
SF Tech Week means back-to-back events, a dozen neighborhoods, and a lot of walking. Let us take care of the in-between.
The DigitalOcean Shuttle is a free hop-on, hop-off ride connecting Caltrain and BART to downtown SF, lunch, and happy hour. Look for the DigitalOcean coach buses running all week long. Grab a seat, charge your phone, finish your pitch deck, and roll up to your next event on time.
How the day flows:
- Morning commute (8:00 to 11:00 AM) Coming in by train? We'll meet you there. Catch the shuttle at Caltrain (4th & King), Montgomery BART, Embarcadero BART, or Civic Center BART and ride straight into downtown SF.
- Midday (11:00 AM to 5:00 PM) Take a break between sessions. The shuttle loops between downtown SF and Yerba Buena Gardens, so you can grab lunch, get some sun, and get back to your next event without the trek. Keep an eye out around lunchtime. We may have a sweet surprise on the route.
- Evening (5:00 to 8:00 PM) Happy hour is calling. Ride from downtown SF to Embarcadero Plaza for Tech Week's evening scene. On Thursday, Oct 8 you can also catch a ride to Intelligence in the Open: A MiniMax Research Night.
When you're ready to call it a night, we'll get you home with drop-offs at Caltrain, Montgomery BART, Embarcadero BART, and Civic Center BART.
Stops may shift slightly day to day to follow what's happening around Tech Week. RSVP here and we'll send you the latest stop details before the week kicks off.
FAQ: Is it free? Yep. The ride's on us. How do I find the shuttle? Look for the DigitalOcean-branded coach buses at the stops listed above. Registered riders will get a stop guide before Tech Week starts. We’ll also share a live map here before Tech Week! Can I hop on and off? Absolutely. Ride one stop or ride all day.
