Runbook and Work Trip present WHAT FASHION RUNS ON, a LA Tech Week event about the invisible infrastructure that fashion runs on. From sourcing and supply chain to retail operations and manufacturing, this event will explore the technologies, processes, people, and decisions behind the fashion industry.
Join us for a panel discussion highlighting stories from those doing the rarely celebrated behind-the-scenes work, followed by a networking hour with folks across fashion, tech, and operations. This is an opportunity to build community with and learn from fellow creative technologists.
About Runbook: Runbook is a platform exploring the people, operations, infrastructure, and technology behind how fashion gets made. By bringing the industry’s often-invisible work into view through education, tools, and events, Runbook creates a space to learn how the fashion industry works, build better tech solutions to operate, and connect with the people shaping what comes next.
About Work Trip: Work Trip is a social club for ambitious women in LA who refuse to build alone. Bringing together founders and entrepreneurs from all industries, Work Trip provides both career-focused programming and casual hangouts, allowing members to grow, connect, and feel supported both personally and professionally.
