Runbook and Work Trip present WHAT FASHION RUNS ON, a LA Tech Week event about the invisible infrastructure that fashion runs on. From sourcing and supply chain to retail operations and manufacturing, this event will explore the technologies, processes, people, and decisions behind the fashion industry.
Join us for a panel discussion highlighting stories from those doing the rarely celebrated behind-the-scenes work, followed by a networking hour with folks across fashion, tech, and operations. This is an opportunity to build community with and learn from fellow creative technologists.

Zoe Hong, Panelist - Educator, author, and YouTuber whose online teachings makes the technical realities of fashion design more accessible.
Sonjia Williams, Panelist - Creative director, fashion designer, and Project Runway alum who brings firsthand experience building and producing an independent womenswear brand.
Sofia Bolognesi, Panelist - Garment specialist and couture manufacturer supporting hands-on design and production in Downtown Los Angeles.
Somya Gupta, Moderator - Supply chain engineer and fashion desginer working at the intersection of creative practice, fashion operations, and technology.
