Robotics has raised over $50 Billion in 2026. Most of it has not shipped.
Bessemer calls this robotics' "GPT-2.5 moment" — real capability, a wide gap to the reliability production demands. The same firm also argues the category is underinvested, not overheated: 42 robotics companies raised $30M+ in five years, against 745 software companies.
Both cannot be right. So we are putting it to a vote.
