/ About this event
Most enterprise voice-AI projects die in the same place. The demo works, the model is fine, then someone asks who owns the phone number, whether the trunk can be re-pointed without a change-control window, and what happens to the ERP when the agent gets something wrong. Nobody in the room owns all three answers.
This is a working session on that gap. We take one real deployment apart on stage — a will-call desk at a food distributor, three DCs behind one number — and show the whole path: a driver's text becoming a card on the board, caller ID doing the introductions, an invoice called in by voice landing mid-call, and a signed write hitting the ERP with a receipt. Then we get into the parts nobody demos: the note-review gate that blocks automation until a human reads the instruction, per-minute cost against a fully-loaded front desk seat, and the rollback line you write before launch.
Bring one workflow — a call that repeats, with a system of record behind it. You'll leave knowing exactly where it would break.
Who this is for: ops leaders who know which call repeats forty times a day, systems and business-applications people who own the seam between the phone and the record, and whoever has to approve it.
Not a vendor overview, not an AI strategy deck, not a keynote about the future of work.
